Neal McLeod

After graduating from Calhoun High School, Calhoun, Georgia, in 1984, Mr. McLeod attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition to his music education studies, he participated in numerous music ensembles. He also marched three years with the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps.

Upon graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Music Degree, Mr. McLeod began graduate studies at Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama. He received a Master of Science in Education Degree in 1991. After teaching in North Georgia for eight years, Mr. McLeod relocated to Gulf Breeze High School in 1997. He has served as Director of Bands since that time.

Mr. McLeod’s professional affiliations include Florida Music Educators Association, Florida Bandmasters Association, Music Educators National Conference, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

He and his wife, Holly, reside in Gulf Breeze with their two daughters, Melody and Rachel.
